Conservation Week Warriors 2015

Don't miss our Conservation Week Warrior Day on Sunday!

5th November 2015

Join us on Rotoroa Island this weekend, for a day of interactive fun exploring conservation in the Hauraki Gulf.

Rotoroa is pest free and the Gulf's newest wildlife sanctuary, so why not come visit for a family-friendly day exploring what it takes to keep island sanctuaries like Rotoroa, precious wildlife havens.

Be a conservation scientist for a day by trying hands-on wildlife management techniques; help us release endangered shore skinks onto our beaches and talk to reptile experts from Auckland Zoo; participate in a conservation story workshop for kids and create a special take-home book.

Conservation Week Warriors on Rotoroa Island is free to attend. 360 Discovery Cruises is offering a 50% discount on all ferry tickets during Conservation Week. To claim your ferry discount and secure your spot, book online with 360 at:

Conservation Week Warriors is brought to you by the Rotoroa Island Trust, Stories in Action, the Rotoroa Island Education Programme and Auckland Zoo.
