This short walking track gives visitors a chance to visit some of the more remote parts of our spectacular island.
The Cable Bay Track is only a 30-minute return trip from the place where it meets up with the North Tower Loop Track. This path takes you through the secluded Patatoa Point wetlands, and provides views of and access to Cable Bay – the largest swimming beach on the island.
From here, you can look across the Hauraki Gulf and soak in views of our neighbour, Pakatoa Island.
