Some of you may have enjoyed weiner schnitzel in the 1980s; if
you've forgotten all about it, or if you've never tried it, here's
a very quick and simple recipe to enjoy. Popular with little people
- beef schniztel, cut into serving sized pieces, any fat and
- flour and a pinch of salt
- 1 egg plus a little milk, beaten together
Trim your schnitzel pieces and beat lightly with a meat hammer
(if you don't have a meat hammer, use the edge of a bluntish heavy
blade to cross-hatch the meat on both sides to help tenderise the
meat). Dust schnitzel with flour, then immerse in the egg mixture
and coat with breadcrumbs.
