Suitable for groups and families, Serenity has a large dining table, well-equipped kitchen and comfortable living areas.
Like all the holiday homes on Rotoroa Island, Serenity is lovingly named after a boat that once served the island's community, and has been renovated to a high standard-decorated in a vibrant vintage style with all the comforts of home.
Serenity's main house has one bathroom with a shower and toilet, one separate shower room, and one separate toilet.
There are four bedrooms; two rooms with one queen bed in each, and two rooms with two single beds in each. The separate bunkhouse (for bookings of 9 or more guests) has two bunks (four single beds) plus one more single, as well as its own bathroom with shower and toilet. The nightly rate is for 8 people and additional adults (up to 13 people) is at an extra cost. A two night minimum applies for all bookings. Children 2 years and over are charged at full rate; children under the age of 2 are free.
Check in is between 8:30am - 4pm and check out is between 8:30am - 4pm.
Transport to Rotoroa Island is with Explore Group who offer a regular scheduled ferry service, or by private transport. * Explore offer our accommodation guests 20% off full priced ferry tickets; you'll receive a code with your accommodation booking.
On arrival, guests are welcomed by our ranger and bags transported to their accommodation.
Please be aware that Rotoroa Island has a biosecurity management plan in place
Ensure you check your bags and chilly bins for ants, insects or other stowaways, and ensure that your shoes and bags are also free of soil and seeds. Download our biosecurity checklist and ensure you follow its precautions. You will need to bring it with you and present it when you arrive on Rotoroa.
Please note there is no land line in your property so make sure you bring your cellphone and charger. While it's fine to bring alcohol with you, we kindly ask that you respect the history of Rotoroa Island.
